NEW ORLEANS SAINTS VS. BUFFALO BILLS

The red-hot New Orleans Saints–the only NFL team with six straight wins this season–arrive to take on the Buffalo Bills in a chilly, windy New Era Stadium. Drew Brees has never thrown a touchdown pass in this stadium. This may change today. The Bills are still smarting from the wretched game they played on Thursday Night Football when the NY Jets dominated them. The Saints are the best team the Bills have faced this season. Will they be up for the challenge or will this game look a lot like the debacle against the Jets? We will find out within a few hours. How will your favorite NFL team do today?

    The Texans will lose, no matter what team they’re playing. Dallas has a chance against Atlanta, but it’s s small one.

    So it’s my Saints versus your Bills, huh? I would recommend a little wager to make things interesting, but I’m not sure which Saints team will show up: The offensive powerhouse of the last six games or the inept Swiss-cheese-level defensive team of the first two!

      Deb, how about this wager: if the Bills lose I’ll buy you and your husband beignets (and lunch) next time Diane and I visit New Orleans. If the Bills win, you get to treat us to some pizza and chicken wings the next time you’re in our neighborhood.

    We are getting the Saints-Bills game on CBS here at 1:00. May the best team win. (Right now, that looks like the Saints.)

    The Giants actually have a chance at their second win when they visit San Francisco this afternoon, but as a team in disarray, I would not bet on them.

    Seahwaks won – and lost – Thursday night. They won the game, but lost Richard Sherman and others to injury, season-ending in Sherman’s case. The Seahawks are so wounded now I’m not sure they cn win many or any more games this season. Good luck to your Bills. We get Green Bay-Chicago as the early game (10:00 here).

      Rick, the Bills are losing by three touchdowns. The Jet debacle was NOT a fluke. Sadly, we Bills fans have seen this Second Half of the season swoon the past 17 years. Time to think about NFL Draft picks.

    I hope SF wins, just so they win a game. Hope Jacksonville smashes the judas’s

    Also hope the saints and packers win, but who knows (sorry george)

    Well George, Drew Brees STILL has not thrown a touchdown pass in Buffalo, which might account for why the score is so close!

    /Sorry—don’t mean to gloat, but it’s true that Brees did not throw a single touchdown pass in this game.

    //Looking forward to my beignets!

      Deb, congratulations on a solid win over the lifeless Bills. You and your husband can feast on beignets (and lunch) on me next time I’m in the Big Easy!
