The 2-4 Bills travel to Miami to take on the 3-2 Dolphins. Practice Squad quarterback Thad Lewis hopes to learn from his mistakes in last week’s loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. Vegas had the Dolphins favored by 9 points early this week but the spread has dropped to a mere 7 and 1/2 points. The Bills haven’t won an away game yet in the 2013. I hardly know what to expect this week. My heart tells me the Bills will pull off an upset…but my head says the Dolphins will prevail. What’s going to happen to your team today?
Despite a few commentators, The Jets will likely go down against the Patriots. Brady will not let anything else happen. I’m not sure the Panthers are up to the Bears. Newton is still to inconsistent for my tastes. And the “Skins the same against the Bears. RG III is playing better, but still not near his early last season state. he may never again.
The Giants will have another Sunday without a loss! Yes, they play Monday night this week after 11 days off. Let’s see if Eli can stop throwing terrible interceptions.
Randy, you may be right about RGIII. He might never be the player he was last season.
Jeff, it’s still shocks me when I see the Giants lose the way they do this season. They won a Super Bowl not long ago!
The 5-1 Saints have a bye week, so they can recover from being thisclose to 6-0 until the final five seconds of last week’s games. And now that the World Series teams are set and no more LCS games, I guess I’ll go shopping this afternoon.
Deb, we’re going to see GHOST: THE MUSICAL this afternoon. Have fun on your shopping spree!
Seattle already won, so it’s no stress here. Jeff, I’d say those aren’t “terrible interceptions”, they are good ones or they wouldn’t be caught. Ha. The Giants need a shake-up. Maybe if they lose a few more they can get some new, better players, or better yet a new coach.
George, I’m afraid the Bills are in for another tough day. The QB isn’t on the practice squad anymore, he is the starter, but he has a lot to learn yet. Dallas, Washington and NY could all lose today, which I guess would be good for Philly. Oh, and oh my didn’t the Oregon Ducks look sloppy last night? More turnovers in the first half than in the previous 6 games!
Rick, the Bills are 5-21 in their last 26 away games. But, in the opening minutes of this game, the Bills intercepted a Miami pass and turned it into a Pick 6!
Congrats to Bills! I was shocked by the last second Jets win, and surprised by the Rams-Panthers score. Wish the Eagles had beaten the Cowboys.
So the Bills pulled it out after all. Congratulations.
I could not believe the Jets won like that. I’ve never seen that penalty called before, let alone on an overtime field goal attempt, I expected Bellicheck’s head to explode.
Thanks, Rick. The Bills pulled one out. But next week, the Bills travel to New Orleans. Yikes!
Jeff, I’ve never seen that penalty called. The Jets did all of the AFC East a favor by knocking off the Patriots.
If I understood the commentators correctly, that penalty is new this season.
The Jets go to Cincinnati next week. I don’t see them winning there.
Bob, you’re right. The penalty against the Patriots was the first time that infraction has every been called in an NFL game.
Cincinnati is tough, Jeff. I’m picking them to win their division.
The Jets looked good today. And I loved watching the Colts beat the hated Broncos.
I hated seeing the disliked Colts beat our Broncos! (Barbara lived in Denver for many years). Seems Bob has a lot of “hated” teams…
