2015 NFL PLAYOFFS: CINCINNATI VS. INDIANAPOLIS and DETROIT VS. DALLAS

Although the Colts crushed the Bengals 27-0 on October 19, the Bengals found a way to make it into the Playoffs as a Wild Card team. Now the Bengals seek to oust the Colts and extract some revenge for that beat-down. I would take the Bengals and the 6-points. The Dallas Cowboys need to beat the Detroit Lions or this season will be considered a failure. Tony Romo had his best year, but his Playoff performances have been disappointing. The 7-point spread may make the Lions attractive, but I’m going to cast my fate with the Cowboys. They are overdue for a big Playoff win. What do you think?

I hate the Cowboys but if Stafford is as horrible as he was last week in Green Bay it will be a long, sad day for the Lions. I hate to say it but I think Dallas is a lot better team at the moment. Cincinnati is too inconsistent but then, so is Indianapolis. Will we see the good Andrew Luck or the not so good one? I’m expecting the Colts to win.

So far I haven’t seen anyone to challenge Seattle or New England.

Dallas is the class of today’s games, and they may be the team, Jeff, to challenge Seattle for the NFC title. New England is the class of the AFC, I expect we’ll see another New England – Denver AFC title game. As I’ve said before, as a Seahawks fan, I’m scared of Dallas this year. How the hell did they get so good compared to last year? The Seahawks, without a top-notch receiver, may be in trouble, not against Carolina, but against Green Bay or Dallas.

Jeff, the Cowboys and Romo are on fire. It’s hard to see the Lion staying with them for long. Cincinnati is going to be missing their super-star WR, Green. But the Colts have lost at home so that’s no guarantee.

Rick, the Seahawks don’t often lose at home. But Dallas defeated them this season. And Dallas looks stronger now than then. I would love to see another Peyton vs. Luck duel!

I have to admit I predicted the outcome before the end of the third quarter. Detroit had that game and literally gave it away, with the help of the officials taking back a penalty they had already called. That was probably their last chance. They should have won that game.

Yes, Detroit got robbed by the guys in the striped shirts! Terrible officiating in that game!

So it’s the Panthers at Seattle and Dallas at Green Bay. Interesting.

Yes, once again the zebras rob a team of their victory. We Seahawks fans know all about that. Dallas may be a better team, but so is Seattle.

I grew up a Cowboys fan (in Nebraska of all places) and my affection for the team has never wavered, even though I’ve not always liked their coaches, or Jerry Jones. I was thrilled they pulled off the comeback.
