If you’re in the mood for something very bizarre, I urge you to click on http://www.m2film.dk/fleggaard/trailer2.swf and be prepared to be amazed. Danish e-commerce website Fleggaard has recently made a “not-safe-for-work” commercial that depicts a group of topless skydivers who, during their descend, come together in mid-air to spell out an advertisement for a washing machine.
Watch out Maytag, Kenmore, and GE! You’re going to step up your advertising game after this. Thanks to the ever vigilant Art Scott for the link.

The stupid thing keeps freezing on me and re-starting halfway through.
OK, I found several other versions (big surprise!) that didn’t freeze.
Definitely one of the all-time great commercials.

The commercial runs over 2 minutes, Jeff! That’s unheard of for American commercials which run 10, 15, and 30 seconds typically.
But I only watched it for the soundtrack!

I liked the freezing. Saved me from doing it. Art has always had an interest in advertising, by the way. I’m sure this was just a chance discovery on his part.
The Emperor has a lot of interests. We’ll explore a few during his visit here later this month.
By the way, I have seen footage of naked women skydiving and it’s not that pretty. Their boobs cup inward from the wind pressure. Scary, kids.
