I’m a fan of Iron Man so this new animated adventure was a must-buy for me. Tony Stark is launching a super spy satellite when his launch facilities are attacked. Stark, as Iron Man, faces a new enemy whose armor is a hybrid of computer technology and advanced DNA. Although the spy satellite makes it into orbit, SHIELD enters the action by capturing Iron Man. Tony Stark manages to find a temporary partner in The Punisher. But they’re chased by the Black Widow and Hawkeye. As Tony Stark investigates his adversary, he learns the new villain has links to Stark Enterprises’ past. If you’re in the mood for 88 minutes of action, Iron Man: Rise of the Technovore delivers plenty of enjoyment. GRADE: B+
I may skip this one, George.
Patti, these animated adventures are aimed at fans of the comic books and graphic novels.
I used to love the comic books as a kind and greatly enjoy the new film versions but it has been perhaps too long for me to get into the animated movies by the sound of it – still, if I get the chance, I will definitely give it a go – thanks George.
Sergio, I find these animated features fun to watch. And, they’re affordable.
Not sure why S.H.I.E.L.D and Iron Man are enemies, I thought they were on the same side. I’ve obviously lost touch with who’s who and what’s what in the Marvelverse.
Rick, everyone in the MARVEL universe may be on the same side, but they conflict over EVERYTHING! Tony Stark has a great line after one of the battles with SHIELD robots: “I’ll pay for the damage.”
I don’t like modern animation. I pass.
Sometimes it seems Cap’n Bob doesn’t like much, but as long as he’s happy, it’s good.
