Wow, at that price (even with import duty for the UK) this sounds irrsistible – thanks George.
Sergio, this set has been deeply discounted. At $29.99 it’s a bargain.
I got this one months ago at that same price. It was delayed as they were looking for a set at the advertised price.
The set I have also includes the two reunion movies they did years later.
Randy, you scored this set before me. I haven’t watched the two reunion movies yet.
I was a fan of the series. I loved the Dr. Loveless shows in particular.
I could not believe what an abomination that Will Smith movie was.
Jeff, I was a fan of Dr. Loveless, too. Yes, that Will Smith movie was dreadful!
So clever for the time, wasn’t it?
Patti, tradition westerns on TV were fading, but THE WILD WILD WEST rejuvenated the genre for a time. You’re right, it was clever.
I watched some episodes and found it fun, but not something I’d clear the schedule to watch. Sort of a “if I think of it” show. I don’t buy big sets like this as I never seem to get around to watching them, but I’ll bet you’ll enjoy this one.
Rick, I find bargains like this one irresistible!
The first steampunk tv series, I think. Though perhaps not.
Todd, just think of what THE WILD WILD WEST could be today with advanced CGI graphics.
i happened to catch Lee Goldberg’s mention of it on Facebook or I wouldn’t have gotten it.
Rnady, you and I and Lee Goldberg got a bargain!
This was always such a fun show. I’ve partaken of it at various points in my life and have always enjoyed it, and am happy to say that Mary does as well. This is a great price.
Carl, I’m a sucker for these complete sets. It’s always better when your wife enjoys the same programs you do.
Local (Twin Cities) author Bruce Bethke wrote the pb novelization tie-in for the Will Smith movie. His website used to have entries on each of his published books, and for that novelization the entry consisted of a picture of the roof of his house and the explanation that he took the contract only because he needed the money to replace that roof. Sounds like a good reason to me (and perhaps the only possible acceptable reason).
Denny, thanks for the info!
