BUFFALO BILLS VS. HOUSTON TEXANS

buffalo bills vs. houston texans
After last week’s 22-10 loss to the San Diego Chargers, the Buffalo Bills need a win badly. It’s hard to win on the road in the NFL, but the Bills won their first game of the season on the road in Chicago. The Bills’ former quarterback, Ryan Fitzpatrick, is now the starting QB for the Houston Texans. There will be riots in the streets of Buffalo if our old QB beats us today. How do you think your favorite NFL team will do today?

Same for the Giants, Cap’n. They flexed their muscles Thursday night in D.C. and kicked the Redskins all over the Stadium.

I’ll be rooting for the Bills today, George, and especially for the Saints in Dallas tonight, Deb.

Yes indeed! The now thankfully not-winless Saints meet the Cowboys tonight in Dallas. Hopefully, Rob Ryan has been working on some basic, fundamental drills with the Daints’ Swiss-cheese defense or we’re in for a long night!

Bill, Ryan Fitzpatrick has a lot of motivation to beat his old team today. But, so does Super Mario. It will be fun to see how this plays out.

Obviously, Daints = Saints in my previous post, but if they don’t win tonight, we’ll be calling them the Aints tomorrow.

I’m going to watch the Green Bay – Chicago game, then that’s it for the day for me. I didn’t watch any games yesterday. I binged on football last weekend and got footballed out. So it’s off to Home Depot for some things, then after the early game I’ll be in the garage and outside doing chores, then helping Barbara clean and prep for guests tomorrow.

Bummer, George. Tough luck. I did enjoy Tampa Bay’s last second win over the Steelers. If you can’t make a single first down and you can’t punt you don’t deserve to win.

I rejoice in every Stealers loss. To lose to the winless Bucs is even sweeter. Alas, I’m bummed about the baseball results. Looks like we’ll beat the Angels, but the Texas loss (I presume at this point) means no post season for the M’s. I know it’s their own damn fault, but it still hurts.

Bob, you’re right the Mariners weren’t good enough to play in the post season. I say let the teams that did well continue, though it would have been great if the arrivers had been better and kept going.
