I would probably get this just for HIGH SOCIETY which shoudl look great as it was originally shot in the large format process, VistaVision (like TO CATCH A THIEF) – I do like MOGAMBO but I wish they would release RED DUST on Blu-ray too (maybe as an extra) – still, with its misture of wilms by paramount, Warners and MGM this is a greta mixture – thanks George.

Sergio, I’m with you on RED DUST. Hopefully, we’ll see it in Blu-ray format in a year or two. This box set gives a lot of value for the price.

Certainly the most beautiful blonde to ever grace a screen. My favorite is REAR WINDOW even though she is there to be looked at mostly.

Patti, I have the “deluxe” version of REAR WINDOW to watch after I correct all the exams I’ve giving this week (yes, it’s Test Time again).

But you don’t state that great price. Of those films, TO CATCH A THEIF and HIGH SOCIETY would be my favorites.

I’m not a Como fan, but for those who are…

He made five films: Something for the Boys (1944), March of Time (1945), Doll Face (1945), If I’m Lucky (1946), and Words and Music (1948)

You scoff, Rick, but Perry Como used to tape his television show on Avenue M in Brooklyn, about half a mile from where I grew up. Our landlord’s daughter was a huge fan and used to go to the tapings all the time. They also filmed THE COSBY SHOW there years later.

No, it’s not Bing’s singing per se but rather the hypocrisy of his life.
