The 7-5 Buffalo Bills face a must-win game in Denver this afternoon. Peyton Manning provides a major defensive headache. The Broncos are favored by 10 points. The Bills need to pull a Major Upset to stay in the Playoff conversation. How will your favorite NFL team do today?

Considering that the Giants maged to blow a big lead to Jacksonville in an ugly loss at home last week I’m not expecting a lot better today in Tennessee, This is a totally lost season.

I’m more interested in seeing how the Seahawks do in Philadelphia in the late afternoon game.

Yes, the 1:30 game should be good, though I’m kind of football’d out after watching several games yesterday. Jeff, I heard an analyst say last Sunday it is time for the Giants to start rebuilding the team, starting with drafting a new QB. George, can Buffalo upset Denver?

The wildly inconsistent Saints (5-7) meet the possibly even worse Carolina Panthers (3-8-1) in the Superdome today. After last week’s surprise win against the Steelers, the Saints are feeling confident; but they’ve found a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory too often this season for me to be overly optimistic. Christmas decorating calls, but the game will be on as I lug boxes of decorations from room to room.

Deb, Diane has been “Christmastizing” our house all week. My sister sent me a Christmas R2D2 cookie jar that plays Christmas carols! Very cool! The Panthers can’t seem to protect Cam Newton so I’ll make a bold prediction and say the Saints will win today.

41-10 is just terrible. Sorry, Deb.

The Jets made a spirited comebck in Minnesota only to blow it in overtime. And I was impressed with Cleveland but they just couldn’t hold Andrew Luck off forever.

We went to Netflix by halftime… It was just too depressing. But my ever-optimistic husband is pinning hopes on Atlanta losing tomorrow and leaving the Saints tied for first place in the NFC South.

The Saints still have a chance if they can beat the Falcons at home.

The Giants’ defense has finally come alive (too late) and it is helping the offense.

Didn’t Oakland lose 52-0 last week? How are the 49ers trailing them?

Seattle looks very good in Philadelphia.

Jeff, Oakland beating the 49ers surprised me. Art Scott can’t be happy. Seattle looks like they’re headed for the Super Bowl again.

Seattle just smothered the Eagles totally. And with Arizona’s quarterback issues they have to be the favorite to win the division, as San Francisco is done.

For me the most annoying part of the Seahawks-Eagles game was every time they showed the sideline Chip Kelly seemed to be whining to the officials about a supposed penalty.

I’m glad for the Seahawks, Raiders, and Giants, but the rest of the games didn’t turn out the way I’d hoped. Well, except for the NE-SD games.
