I’m a big fan of Time Travel stories so this new BAEN BOOKS collection moved to the top of my reading list. Hank Davis makes some nice selections and provides interesting introductions to the stories. I liked “Gibraltar Falls” by Poul Anderson, one of his Time Patrol stories. And Robert F. Young’s “The Girl Who Made Time Stop.” There’s a nice blend of classic writers like Murray Leinster and more contemporary writers like Sarah A. Hoyt. If you enjoy Time Travel stories as much as I do, you’ll enjoy As Time Goes By.

Not read many of those – thanks George, very tempting. Sound alike the emphasis is not on paradox …
Sergio, Hank Davis puts together very enjoyable collections. This new Time Travel volume presents a nice variety of stories.
Sounds good. I like those Baen collections and you know I like time travel stories a lot. Will look for this one.
Another former DAPA-EMmer makes good.
Jeff, I really admire the work Hank Davis has done for BAEN BOOKS with these enjoyable collections.
OK. My library has several copies so I’ve added it to my list.
Jeff, you’ll like AS TIME GOES BY.
Davis, who was still in the spa when I joined, is doing a good job at Baen. Nice to see another collection edited by him.
Rick, I already ordered Hank Davis’ next BAEN Books anthology: FUTURE WARS. It comes out in September.
oops, that was supposed to be “apa” – damned autocorrect did it again.
Will have to get this one. I hadn’t heard of it before. Hank does a great job putting together all the recent anthologies he’s been doing. My science fiction reading consists mostly of time travel stories now. Can’t get into much else any more. Even the “best of the year” anthologies are awfully hit or miss for me, mostly miss.
Steve, I completely agree with you on those “Best of the Year” anthologies. Too many marginal stories!
I do love Time Travel and will be picking this one up. Love the cover, which isn’t something I can always say about Baen books.
Carl, I’ve been very pleased by the Hank Davis anthologies BAEN BOOKS publishes. You’re right about the BAEN covers. They vary in quality.
