Wolf, I remember that “Spaghetti Tree” jape! Have fun in Hungary! We may hit 60 degrees tomorrow. It’s been 153 days since we’ve experienced a temperature that high.
Happy April 1st to you and Diane, George. Should be a nice day here, temps in the low 60s, a few showers, some sun breaks, good weather for the plants we put in last weekend. We will take a walk by the river in an hour or so, then Barbara has errands and I will read and work on a jigsaw puzzle we have under way.
No April fool jokes here, we got past that when we were in our twenties…
Where’s the party? I was told there’d be a party….
Dan, we’re having a pizza party! You’re invited!
Wish I had something better to day than Happy April Fool’s Day. How about April is the Cruelest Month?
Patti, April has to be better than March. We were freezing most of the time in March (and I think Michigan was, too).
I want a full report of any tricks played on you today, George.
Jerry, my students tried some “pre-emptive” April Fools jokes yesterday but I saw right through them.
It can’t be crueler than March this year, Patti.
April 1 was Jackie’s father’s birthday. He would have turned 96 today.
Jeff, the College is closed next week for “Holiday Break” (we can’t use the term “Easter Break” anymore). So already April is a great month to me!
Why don’t they call it Spring Break?
Rick, the terminology has to be politically correct. “Easter” mustn’t be mentioned now.
Greetings from Hungary!
In Europe April 1 is still a big thing – though most of the jokes are rather simple/simplistic. Here’s a nice one (the best I found today) from England:

PS:
One of the best jokes imho was a video produced by the BBC some years ago about farmers in Italy harvesting a spaghetti tree …

Rick, the same Happy April wishes back at you! We may hit 60 degrees tomorrow. That’s double the temperature we’re experiencing today.
