Season Two of Broadchurch is even more nerve-wracking than the First Season. David Tennant plays a police detective that looks more wasted than Keith Richards. I really like Olivia Coleman as Ellie Miller, Tennant’s partner. The murder of a young boy gets complicated as a trial of the suspected killer reviews more clues and secrets. At the same time, Tennant investigates the murder of two young girls. The acting is first-rate and suspenseful. I’ll be on the edge of my seat tonight.
I’m looking forward to this series. We binge-watched season one and I thought it was excellent, although I was a little let down by the ending which seemed a bit forced. Well, as soon as it comes to Netflix…
Deb, everything you THOUGHT you knew in BROADCHURCH Season One comes into doubt in Season Two. This is a real mind-bender! But excellent!
We no longer have BBC America (Jeff Smith is recording ORPHAN BLACK for me) so haven’t seen season two. I’m sure we’ll get to it eventually, on Netflix or whatever.
Jeff, when you do see BROADCHURCH, Season Two be prepared for some tricky plotting.
Somehow we lost track of this after the first episode. Will have to reconnect.
Patti, it’s worth the effort to watch BROADCHURCH, both Seasons One and Two.
