FINAL FOUR 2017: SOUTH CAROLINA VS. GONZAGA; OREGON VS. NORTH CAROLINA

I love the appearances of new teams in the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament’s FINAL FOUR. Gonzaga is here for the first time. So is South Carolina. Oregon hasn’t been in the FINAL FOUR since 1939–78 years! And, of course, North Carolina is looking for redemption after Villanova beat them last year with a buzz beater. Gonzaga is favored over the Gamecocks by 6 points. North Carolina is favored over the surprising Ducks by 5 and 1/2 points. I’ll be rooting for the Ducks and the Gamecocks (I love underdogs!). Who will you be rooting for?

Not a huge fan, but I think Gonzaga and North Carolina will win their respective games. I expect Gonzaga to then win the championship.

Deb, you may have to take your prediction skills to Vegas! I’m still in shock that the U-Conn Women’s Basketball team lost! What a game!

No one. I just don’t care. I was bummed that UConn lost last night after a 111-game winning streak.

If I had to pick, North Carolina would be it. On the other side, go Ducks!

Oh, pulling for the Oregon Ducks, absolutely. Not sure they can do it, but then I didn’t think they would be Kansas either. In the other game, I’m going for the Zags.

I don’t follow basketball but I watched the Zags play out of state loyalty! They won! I was hoping the Ducks would win to make it an all-Northwest championship game, but no such luck!

Nuts. Well they (Oregon) had a great season, and went far, especially without their big center. Maybe next year, though they are losing several stars. Only one more game, I’ll root for the Zags.
