Just in time for Halloween, Daedalus books has put these double DVD sets on sale for a mere $3.98 each. Count Dracula’s Great Love, Frankenstein’s Castle of Freaks, The Doomsday Machine, Werewolf of Washington, Legacy of Blood, and The Devil’s Wedding Night accompanied by the insightful commentary of Elvira, Mistress of the Dark. What more could you want to make Halloween complete? Just click here to go to the Daedalus web site and pick up these gems before they’re sold out!
I do remember seeing WEREWOLF OF WASHINGTON but would have to check to see if I saw the others. Once again George dangles tempting bargains before our eyes.
Gee thee behind me!
😉
Most sites want $13 for these DVDs, Jeff. At just $3.98 each, who can resist?
I’m not so sure “gems” is exactly the right word, but who cares? It’s Elvira, and that’s what matters.
I fell for Elvira hard decades ago, Bill. She still casts a spell over me.
Halloween hasn’t been the same without Elvira.
Apparently Elvira is planning to go back on TV in San Diego, Patti.
I take a Milky Way bar and a good night’s sleep, thanks. These are the bottom of the pits, Elvira or no Elvira. I can use that twelve bucks to buy a couple more rolls of packing tape.
Grade-Z movies have their charms, Rick, if you’re in the mood. Good luck with that packing tape!
By the way, my New Arrivals post of things from Bouchercon is up.
Elvira is currently broadcasting on the ThisTV network, as well…Sundays at midnight.
I’ll have to check to see if ThisTV network is on my Time-Warner cable package, Todd, or on one of the syndicated channels.
Check that…the ThisTV clearance is at 1a Monday morning ET. And it’s otherwise syndicated.
Where are you, George? I tend to forget. Buffalo?
Yes, Todd, I live in the only NFL city without a win.
Patti can see it on the ABC affiliate, WDIV in Detroit.
Check that, too…that did seem odd. It’s actually on WDIV-DT2, the ThisTV singnal in Detroit.
But consider the Most Famous Bill Ever, and the karma does seem to be working as advertised. And that karma is also depriving Buffalo of any clearance for ELVIRA, either syndicated or on a This TV affiliate.
That’s why I bought those bargain Elvira DVDs, Todd.
However, some of her older episodes, those above!, are also on Hulu.

I’ve seen most of these, Todd, but thanks for the heads up.
