NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS VS. BUFFALO BILLS

When this week began, the Bills were 8 1/2 point favorites over the NEW New England Patriots. As the week went on, Vegas kept increasing the point spread for this game. Now, at kick-off time, the Bills are now favored by 14 points over the Patriots! The Bills need a win badly to clinch their Playoff spot. How will your favorite NFL perform today?

Not so good, probably. The Giants are going nowhere and the Rams need this win badly. Plus, they’re a better team. But we’ll see. The Bills need to keep the momentum going.

The 7-8 Saints journey to Tampa Bay to take on the 8-7 Buccaneers. The Saints need to win this game (and need the Falcons to lose to the Bears), so that the top (if you can even use that word in this context) three teams in the NFC South will have matching 8-8 records and there will still be the faintest hope of a playoff berth with next week’s game. If the Saints lose today, their post-season hopes will be dashed—but, frankly, a team playing as lethargically as the Saints have been playing all season don’t deserve to get into the playoffs.

Unbelievable. The Giants came back against the Rams but once again, as they did against the Jets, they missed a last second field goal that would have given them the game.

I was back & forth between the Niners game and yours. Your guys did what was needed to get the win, as did the 49ers vs DC. The big surprise was lowly Card s beating Eagles, which meant the 49ers get home field throughout, with the bye after next week. So they can rest whoever they need to for 2 weeks before their 1st postseason game! What a bonanza!

Art, I can’t figure out what happened to the Eagles. They looked like a Super Bowl team in October and now they are limping into the Playoffs. Congratulations to the 49ers! With Lamar Jackson’s FIVE TD performance today, I think the MVP will go to Lamar, not Purdy.

The Ravens/Dolphins game started out as advertised, two good teams playing well. Then, it turned into a blowout, Ravens 56-19. Lamar Jackson had a perfect qb rating, and Baltimore scored more or less at will. They are peaking at the right time.

Jeff, the Ravens look like a Super Bowl team. I’m guessing Art Scott is dreading a Ravens vs. 49ers rematch in the Super Bowl! Congratulations on locking up the One Seed in the AFC!

The lame Seahawks allowed the hated Stealers to run roughshod over them all day! Tackling is a lost art out here!
