BUFFALO BILLS VS. NY JETS

Breece Hall is no Derrick Henry. Justin Fields is no Aaron Rodgers. But the pesky Jets give the Bills a tough game almost every time they play. While the Buffalo Bills are 6 1/2 point favorites in this game, the Jets almost beat the Steeler last week. The 34-32 score shows how close the Jets came to winning the game. I’m expecting a close game this afternoon.

How will your favorite NFL team perform today?

I expect the Bills to win.

The Giants are in their personal hellhole, Dallas, to play the hated Cowboys. Much as I’d love to see them win, I’ll believe it when I see it.

Have you recovered from the reunion yet?

Jeff, we had REUNION Post-game today: Brunch with Carol’s sons, a visit with Patrick and Katie’s friend who just had a baby, and a trip to the Airport for our kids departure. They were super helpful in the whole REUNION weekend! Both Diane and I are exhausted. Carol leaves tomorrow and we’ll chill out.

After a lackluster loss last week, the now 0-1 Saints stay put in the Big Easy and host the 1-0 49-ers in the Super Dome. Rookie QB Spencer Rattler has a lot on his shoulders so I hope the Saints receivers have been practicing how to catch AND HANG ON to the ball over this past week.

Niners pulled out a nice win, despite injuries, with their backup quarterback and a new kicker (who missed 1st xtra point). Bills didn’t seem to sweat much to put the Jets down. Good start 2- 0 for both, may they keep it up.

Art, I was more fearful that the Bills would have a letdown after their miraculous victory over the Ravens. But, it was the Jet who had the letdown after almost beating the Steelers last week. Glad the 49ers are still a winning team without Purdy…

I’m obliged to hate the 49ers because they are division rivals of the Seahawks! I’m glad to say the Seahawks trounced the despised Stealers today, and in other sports news, Cal Raleigh hit home run #54 to tie Mickey Mantle for the most homers by a switch hitter in a season! The M’s also won the game, putting them in sole possession of first place in the AL West!
