   After a one-point loss to Detroit last week (where all the Saints points were scored in the second half AND Detroit scored the exact same number of points, 31, that they scored against the Bills), the now 0-1 Saints journey to Baltimore to take on the 1-0 Ravens. I liked how the Saints finally got themselves together in the game last week, but unfortunately a game is four quarters long not two.

   Of course, we are now in the final week of the regular baseball season, so I will have the MLB Network on all day.

      Deb, a lot of the ESPN “experts” are picking the Ravens to go to the Super Bowl.

   Great!

   Actually, that is my usual comment when the Giants are off on Sunday. We’ll see how they do against the Rams in L.A. on Monday night.

   The Daily News called it The Harbaugh Effdct. How else explain a 4-11 team playing Sunday night in Week 1, followed by Monday night Week 2?

      Jeff, the Rams lost Big Time in Australia and now have to contend with a surprising Giants team. Again, some “experts” on ESPN had the Rams going UNDEFEATED this season!

   I’m not as interested in football since the chargers left San Diego. I have favorites but not really following. I tend to like individual players more than teams
