The 2-0 Buffalo Bills take on the 0-2 LA Chargers in what might be a “Trap Game.” The Bills are favored by 7 points and the Chargers are riddled with injuries. But LA Chargers’ Head Coach Jim Harbaugh is already on the Hot Seat and desperately needs a win. I’m expecting the Chargers to pull out all the stops against the Bills today.

After a surprise win on the road last week, the 1-1 Saints return to the Superdome to take on the 2-0 Raiders. Today’s game is the Saints’ home opener, so I’m expecting The Who Dat Nation to turn out in force for the Boys in Black & Gold. As for the game itself, in both of their games so far this season, the Saints have played rather lethargically for the first half and then turned on the afterburners for the second. I’m hoping today that the team can find a way to be present for all four quarters. Of course, today is the last day of the regular baseball season, and playoffs begin on Tuesday, so I can’t promise I’ll actually be watching a football game this afternoon.
Deb, the Raiders have been a Surprise team going 2-0. But I think the Saints will defeat them today.
I’m hoping for the Bills to win over the traitorous chargers.
Since they left San Diego, I root for the Rams.

Well, with Jaxson Dart out for the year I guess we’ll see if Jameis Winston can do the job like he did against the Lions last year, or if it will be another disaster like Monday night. But then, the Titans are not the Rams. Either way, it will be an ugly, windy day in the Meadowlands. I would save my money even if I was a betting man, which I’m not.
Jeff, Patrick and his friends were supposed to see Brandi Carlile in a live concert yesterday…but NYC weather cancelled the concert. Hope the Nor’easter doesn’t mess with you or Jackie!
We’re lucky where we live, as things are not so bad here. The winds were terrible yesterday, though.
