AFC CONFERENCE PLAYOFF: BUFFALO BILLS VS. KANSAS CITY CHIEFS (CBS)

Here we go again. The Buffalo Bills and the Kansas City Chiefs meet again in the Playoffs. The Chiefs have owned the Bills in the post-season posting a 4-0 record. The Chiefs also want to “Three-pete” by going back to the Super Bowl and winning a third straight Lombardi Trophy, something that’s never been done. The Chiefs are 2-point favorites.

But, hope springs eternal. The Bills have overcome numerous problems and injuries to end up in the AFC Conference Championship game against their nemesis. Do they have what it takes to finally defeat Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs? Diane says: “Yes!”

In the early NFC Conference Playoff game, the mighty Philadelphia Eagles are favored over the Washington Commanders by 6 points. Can the amazing rookie Quarterback, Jayden Daniels, pull off another miracle win? I’m not so sure. Who do you think will win today?

I like them both but lean towards KC! Then again, if we’re treated to a shot of Taylor Swift every time Kelce makes a catch I may start rooting for the Bills!

Commanders, of course. As I used to note, when I lived in the DC area, they could call the team the Limeys, the Wops or the Frogs and insult other swaths of my ancestry.

    Go Bills!
I think most people outside KC and the Mahomes and Swift families want the Bills to do it. As for the other game, the Eagles certainly have the edge, but as with the Cowboys, I will be rooting against them.

I think the Eagles have the edge in the earlier game, but as for the Bills-Chiefs, I think that could go either way. Last week, the Chiefs played a somewhat sloppy game (especially regarding clock management toward the end of the game) but were very lucky. Both teams are evenly matched so I expect whichever team has more luck today will be heading to the Super Bowl.

Bills have earned their way to a win. But next week, I will turn to my hometown if they can defeat Washington. Meanwhile I will be watching Frida with some guests. My interest waned when the Lions lost.

At least they gave us a good game, unlike the stinker that preceded it. Now I can find something useful to do on Superbowl Sunday. I never saw even a glimpse of T. Swift. Nice try Bills, maybe next year . . .

So close. I was afraid all along that if it was close at the end, the Chiefs would find a way to pull it out again.
