Seems the Summer has a grip on you, George. Thanks for the fun tunes. We’ve been getting up (very) early to watch the Tour de France, which we do every year. Then outside for some time enjoying the garden, iced tea, reading, bird watching. We’re slow grilling ribs tonight.

Light, frothy summer songs capture the essence of vacation, Rick (of course “Better” is a bit dark). It’s hot and humid here in Western NY. Dinner will probably be the no-cook variety: salads and fruit and ice cream (with walnuts on my portion!) Enjoy your summer!

I shall, we shall. I just got fe up with the lousy library paperback copies of Judge Dee, so beat up and dirty I had trouble wanting to even touch them. Solution? Yep, I bought a bunch. As I will say in my post this evening, “blame it on George Kelley.

Rick, I’m happy to be the one to inspire you to stimulate the economy and add some great books to your collection! I plan to read more Judge Dee later this summer.
