From the time I heard the first few notes of The Theme to TAXI I’ve been a Bob James fan. I’ve always enjoyed James’ entertaining smooth jazz. I bought his albums, then his CDs. Now, I’ve bought his DVD of his live performance at the Queen Mary Jazz Festival. Check out the video sample below to see if it’s to your taste.

I’ve always liked Bob James’ music, Patti. I’m sure you and Phil will enjoy it.
There’s something kinda wistful and bittersweet about the Taxi theme, which always draws me in.
I’ll have to give more of James’ work a try.
I’m always entertained by Bob James’ smooth jazz, Beth. He’s best known for the “Theme to TAXI’ but there’s plenty of great music on his CDs.
