Diane and I are attending BOUCHERCON in Indianapolis. Art Scott, Bill and Judy Crider, Jeff and Jackie Meyerson, Steve Stilwell, Maggie Mason, and a strong contingent of DAPA-EM members promises to make this convention fun, fun, fun. I’ll also be dining with Patti Abbott and her husband, Phil. There are also plans to attend an Indianapolis Symphony concert. Hope to see you here!
I hope you all have a great time!
Wish you were here, Drongo. A lovely blond was asking about you. She called you “a man of mystery.” Heady stuff! This is one of the better BOUCHERCONs.
Oh how I wish I could be there right now! Have a great time, see you in the blogosphere.
See, I can blog and be at BOUCHERCON at the same time, Rick! You’re missing a lot of fun!
With my nasty cold, pulled calf muscle (did that Tuesday) and back acting up, this O.F. is probably better off here in the easy chair, but boy oh boy, do I wish I was there! I’m looking forward to a great trip report.
I’m doing a Friday Forgotten Book tomorrow, one I did in Lethal,/i> a while back, by Roy Huggins.
Looking forward to it, Rick!
We’re here. Hope to find you eventually.
I usually hang out in the Dealers’ Room, Patti. Just look for Steve Stilwell and Art Scott and you’ll probably find me.
Good times were had by all. The weather wasn’t great but we missed most of the rain. Even though the panels didn’t live up to some past conventions the main reason we go is to hang out with friends and in that respects this one was at the top.
I think all the space the Hyatt provided for groups to gather produced much of that conviviality, Jeff. I never saw a hotel with more nooks and crannies where people could meet.
