By the time you read this, Diane and I should be on the road headed for Cleveland. I was trying to figure out how many Bouchercons I’ve been to (with and without Diane). I came up with a dozen, give or take… I’ve enjoyed every BOUCHERCON I’ve ever attended. Yes, some of the panels are fun, but the friends who attend make the time special. Diane and I hope to see the Meyersons, Beth and Maggie, Art Scott, Steve Stilwell, the Teds, Tina, and a bunch more. There are always surprises at these BOUCHERCONs. That’s half the fun! If you’re within driving distance of Cleveland, you should think about dropping in and hanging out with us. You’ll be glad you did. Oh, and did I mention the free books?
So sorry we’re going to be missing you and Diane now that we had to cancel, but I would not get on a plane with an upper respiratory infection, especially after a sleepless night.
Have a great tine abd eat a double portion of custard for us.
You and Jackie provide half the fun at a BOUCHERCON, Jeff. It won’t be the same without you guys! Get well soon!
George and everyone else who IS going, have a great time!!
Jeff, really, really sorry to hear you’re ill and that it prevents you from going. Dang. Please get well SOON and back on your feet. Everyone else who is unable to go – you know who you are – curl up with a good book and keep and eye out for updates from George and anyone else. I will be.
We’re having a great time, Rick. plenty of fun and free books!
I wish that the fellow who Phil sat near going to Dublin had cancelled his trip. He was sick three days later.
Bad Air on planes is one of my biggest complaints about traveling, Patti. Hope Phil is better. And, I’m sure you enjoyed Ireland. Find any good books? We missed you at BOUCHERCON!
