For Breaking Bad fans, here’s the perfect Christmas present: The Complete Collectors set of Blu-rays with a collectible replica money barrel, over 55 hours of special features from all seasons, all new two-hour documentary, 16-page booklet with a letter from Vince Gilligan, a commemorative challenge coin designed by Vince Gilligan, and a Los Pollos Hermanos apron! This set goes on sale on November 23, but they’ll sell out fast! Order now!
A package that shape will never make it through UK customs even if I order it through Amazon – highly amusing though all the same! Thanks George.
Sergio, just the Blu-ray set is available for $80.
I really don’t understand all the fuss about this TV show. Must be one hell of a marketing job.
Rick, the viewers who got hooked on BREAKING BAD are fiercely loyal. MAD MEN generates the same kind of enthusiasm in its audience.
Rick, I firmly believe were it not for media complicity and hype all these shows – with a few measly million viewers each – would run their course and not be treated like The Second Coming.
Ah. Well, I guess if media hype were then as it is today shows like GUNSMOKE, ROCKFORD FILES and CHINA BEACH would be treated the same way.
No pawn shops, storage lockers, or small claims courts=no interest.
Rick, the new CHINA BEACH Blu-ray set is about to be released with most of the original music. Previous sets have either deleted the music or had cover bands play the songs.
Bob, you’re not interested in the meth business? You don’t know what you’re missing!
Richard-I just watched a bunch of old Rockfords and they don’t hold up well. Not particularly well written. And the secondary characters, usually a new girl guest star every episode, are poorly acted. The show was mostly carried by James Garners charm.
Steve – I used to catch one once in a while on TV reruns, but didn’t see any one after the other, so I guess I didn’t notice that. It sure was popular back in it’s time.
Dr. Kelley, after reading your comment to Bob, I couldn’t help but picture you teaching the class Meth Business 101. My brother recently became a fan of Braking Bad.
