BUFFALO BILLS VS. NY JETS

Despite last week’s debacle in Jacksonville, the Buffalo Bills travel to the Meadowlands to play the NY Jets in MetLife Stadium. Inexplicably, the 5-3 Bills are 11 1/2 point favorites over the 2-6 Jets. Last Sunday in the NFL saw a number of upsets. Will it happen again this week? How will your favorite NFL perform today?

The Jets are gonna spank the Bills like the babies they are! It’ll be a blowout, a romp, a merciless massacre!

Obviously I predict these things with my heart! I wouldn’t put any money on the Jets, the bums!

After last week’s heartbreaking come-from-behind-in-the-last-few-minutes-then-lose-with-no-time-left-on-the-clock loss, the 5-3 Saints journey to Tennessee to take on the 7-2 Titans. I’m not expecting too much from the Boys in Black & Gold today, both defense and offense need work and third-string QB Trevor Siemien is showing exactly why he was third-string.

Deb, the rumor is that five Tennessee Titian players are on the Covid-19 list. And, Derrick Henry is done for the season. I think the Saints have a shot at winning.

The Giants are finally on their bye week. Without even looking at the schedule, I can tell you now that their record after the bye week, even when they were a much better team, has been abysmal over the years, so we’ll see next week.

I have to believe the Bills will be more prepared for their division rival today. It is going to be a chilly day in the 40s, but sunny, so the weather should not be a factor.

As the world knows, unless hiding under a rock, the Aaron Rogers led Green Bay Packers plat today. The NFL gave Rogers a little financial slap ($14k) on the hand and said “go play”. He ought, I believe, have been suspended, but the NFL has never taken Covid-19 seriously as in get vaccinated or don’t play, so I shouldn’t be surprised. I see Rothlesburger is on “the virus list” now too. I feel sorry for the other players who have done the right thing, but I hope Rogers has a crash and burn.

Oh, the team that gets to face them today…is the Seahawks. Wilson is supposed to play, though his finger isn’t completely healed. I expect they’ll just hand off a lot, and with a weak O-line and poor pass defense, they’ll probably lose, though I’ll watch, and hope. Grilled ham and Swiss sandwiches are on the menu. Good luck with the Jets, who seem to be improving.

Rick, I’m not sure Russell Wilson was able to perform today with his surgically repaired hand. Aaron Rodgers looks rusty, but had enough in the tank to win.

Uncalled face mask called, and fantom holding calls. The officiating in the Packers/Seahawks game is horrible. Why don’t they just give the game to Green Bay and tell Covid Aaron he can go home and take more Intervectn?

    BAH, DOUBLE BAH! HUMBUG!

True. It is bad and not getting better. That “taunting” penalty last Thursday was a joke…but not funny.
