BUFFALO BILLS VS. NY JETS [ESPN]

The Buffalo Bills travel to New Jersey for tomorrow night’s Monday Night Football game. Despite the firing of Jets Head Coach Robert Saleh, the Bills are a 2 1/2 point favorites. The Bills have lost their last two games–against the Ravens and the Texans–so this Jet game means a lot. How will your favorite NFL team perform today?

While I would never recommend betting on the Giants, at least they showed signs of life in Seattle last week. If they can run the ball tonight against the struggling Bengals, they could have their second win in a row, even without Malik (concussion) Nabers. But we’ll see.

What the Jets need is not only a new coach and a quarterback under 40, but a new owner.

Jeff, the NY TIMES Sports guys say bet the Jets. The Bills are struggling so I’m looking for a low-scoring, close game tomorrow night. The Giants may surprise us just like the Washington Commanders are doing.

Sadly, the Saints’ explosive 2-0 start to the season seems to have been an anomaly. They’ve now lost three games in a row because of anemic playing, unforced errors, and sloppy mechanics. So the now 2-3 Saints (minus injured quarterback Derek Carr and all-purpose player Taysum Hill) host the 3-2 Buccaneers at the Super Dome. Neither team is really tearing it up so far, so it will come down to what the Saints can do with a backup QB and an undisciplined defense.

Deb, I heard the Tampa Bay Buccaneers left Florida before Hurricane Milton hit. Maybe the Bucs partied too much in the Big Easy and will show up at the Super Dome hung over.

Jeff, these teams with pre-season High Expectations are likely to see coaching changes soon…like what happened to the Jets Head Coach. Dallas could be next.
