BUFFALO BILLS VS. TENNESSEE TITANS

The 3-1 Buffalo Bills travel to Tennessee to take on the 2-2 Titans. The Bills are 3-point underdogs. Bills QB Josh Allan has been in Concussion Protocol all last week, but has been cleared medically to play in this game if Head Coach Shawn McDermott decides to start him. I hope McDermott starts backup Matt Barkley instead, but who knows what will happen. How will your favorite NFL perform today?

The suddenly 2-2 Giants have a decent chance to beat the Vikings today. If they do, their season actually will have some hope, especially since they have to go to New England to play the Patriots on Thursday night.

Jeff, the Vikings signed Kurt Cousins to a big contract figuring he would lead them to the Super Bowl. So far, the Vikings are going Nowhere.

The surprisingly 3-1 Drew-Brees-less Saints meet the Tampa Bay Bucs in the Superdome today. Special teams have kept the boys-in-black-and-gold competitive so far, but here’s hoping either back-up QB, Teddy Bridgewater, or all-purpose player, Tasum Hill, can get a strong offensive game going. There’s only so many times you can rely on winning by intercepting the ball and running it back for a touchdown.

While I’ll undoubtedly be wat Hong the Saints, I’m also looking forward to more MLB playoff games—where I hope the Dodgers can put on a better show versus the Nationals than they did on Friday night. Hopefully, Dodger MVP candidate (and, I’m assured, Deb’s future son-in-law), Cody Bellinger, will break out of his series slump and knock a couple out of the park.

Deb, I was happy to see the Saints defeat the Cowboys. We’ll see if the Tampa Bay Bucs can put up 50+ points on the Saints defense like they did on the Rams. I doubt it.

Seahawks won a squeaker (they were lucky) Thursday, so we’re good with that. The Ducks won yesterday, so we’re good with that too. Now if the Dodgers would show some spark…

George, why do you want the backup to start if the starter is ready to play?

@ Deb: I want the Saints to win, but Tampa Bay looked darn good last week.

Rick, I’m concerned that a week is not enough time to recover from a concussion. I would have preferred Josh Allen to have more time to heal.
