Deb, I bet you’re relieved that LSU was able to squeeze out that narrow win yesterday.
Giants host – and will be creamed by – the Packers this afternoon, in what should be a cold and soggy Meadowlands. This season is a disaster for the former Big Blue.
The twins were at the LSU game (along with about 102,000 others). It was a bittersweet game for them—their last game as LSU students (I can’t believe they’ve been there four years, but here we are). QB Joe Burrow changed into a shirt that read “Burreaux” and the crowd went wild. Crazy times in Tigerland last night!
Seahawks play Minnesota tomorrow. Once again, I fear the outcome, especially if there are any injuries on the Seahawk O-line.
It’s cold here, the roads are icey, though we got no snow. These days I have to pour hot water into the birdbaths each morning to unfreeze them. It was 29 when we got up this morning.
The cold rain has started here. It’s miserable out there. It is supposed to end as snow tomorrow, though various weather people disagree on how much we will get.
I hope George has changed his travel plans because flying to the Northeast tomorrow is just not likely to happen.
Rick, the Buffalo area experienced four hours of freezing rain last night. A DELTA flight slid off the runway at the Buffalo Airport, too. No one was hurt, fortunately.
After beating the Falcons on Thanksgiving Day, the now 10-2 Saints have mathematically won the NFC South and now get to rest until next Sunday.
Deb, the Buffalo Bills are preparing for their contest with the Baltimore Ravens next week. Yikes! Congratulations on your team winning the NFC South!

Deb, I’m looking forward to LSU beating Ohio State!
Jeff, the Giants are playing for Draft Picks now. The Bills have done that for years.

Jeff, we’re hoping to get to Baltimore tomorrow evening. After that, we’ll have to see if we can fly from Baltimore to Buffalo…or go with Plan B.
