The disappointing 4-5 Buffalo Bills enjoy a much needed Bye Week to help heal all of their injured players. To make the NFL Playoffs, the Bills would need to go 6-1 in the remaining seven games. Not likely. How is your favorite NFL team going to do today? [Photo provided by WikiLeaks]
We play the Pats, of Bellicheat and Inflationgate fame! As always, I’m pessimistic!
Bob, we Bills fans would appreciate it if you would defeat the Patriots.
everyone would probably appreciate the pats losing
Maggie, Tom Brady has been on fire since he came back from the Deflategate suspension. The Patriots look like they’re Super Bowl bound once again.
The 6-3 Broncos travel to the Superdome to take on the 4-4 Saints. The Who-Dat Nation was thrilled last week when the Boys in Black’n’Gold finally made it to .500, but the Broncos are gonna make it hard for them to finally get a winning record. I expect the Broncos to outscore the Saints significantly today. The Saints are still wobbly on defense and I’m afraid their offense might be running into a buzz saw today.
/So that’s where all my private pictures ended up–on Wikileaks!
Deb, I’m still not a believer in the Broncos. They are a seriously flawed team. And the Saints seem to be getting their mojo back. Those WikiLeaks guys can hack anyting!
I agree. The Broncos haven’t looked that great when I’ve seen them either.
The Giants need to beat the Bengals on Monday night as they begin there “less hard” part of the schedule (Cincinnati, Chicago, Cleveland, Pittsburgh) before they have their second go-round against Dallas, Washington, and Philadelphia.
Despite the colder temperatures (it was 75-80 in Las Vegas) I’m glad to be home. Jackie helped stimulate the local economy while we were gone. The super put down the new kitchen plank flooring (he’ll do the hall when we’re in Florida), and we had the bathroom repainted.
Jeff, glad you’re back to NY safe and sound. And congratulations to you and Jackie for stimulating the American Economy. Diane and I did some stimulating, too. You’ll see on tomorrow’s post.
The Cowboys will likely lose to the Steelers. I’m hopeful that the Texans can beat the lowly Jaguars.
I wish, but I think the Cowboys will win.
Jeff, I find it remarkable that the Cowboys are winning with a rookie QB. Astonishing!
This is a very different Seahawks team than the one that lost to the Pats in the Super Bowl. Their offense line is much weaker, the defense has been struggling and Russel Wilson is still playing hurt. I expect the Patriots to win by 2 touchdowns. However, one can hope. We’ll be out this evening, so I’ll miss the game, which is fine.
Rick, we’re going to see AMERICAN IN PARIS: THE MUSICAL and then having dinner with friends. So it will be late night for us, too.
Go Falcons, go Vikings, go Steelers.
Can’t believe the Packers are getting crushed by the Titans.
Jeff, something is Very Wrong in Green Bay!
I’m hoping the lowly 49ers can beat Arizona, so the Cardinals don’t gain on the Seahawks.
Rick, the 49ers may find the Cardinals too much for them.
Well, the Vikings and Falcons let me down, so it’s up to Pittsburgh.
Jeff, the Steelers uncharacteristically lost at home. Dallas has the best record in the NFL!
I hope the hated Stealers lose, as always! I have a feeling I won’t watch the Seahawk game! I don’t need the stress!
Bob, I’ll be rooting for the Seahawks against Tom Brady and the Patriots.
W H E W. That was a great game, and a fingernail biter. Yay Seahawks!
Rick, it was a great win for the Seahawks! The Patriots don’t lose at home very often.
What Rick said! I ended up watching it and yelling at the screen more than once, but somehow the good guys (Seahawks) won! It has been a good week for me!
Bob, you are on a roll! Quick, go buy a lottery ticket or visit the casino!
Both the Chiefs and the Cowboys came back in last minute dramatic fashion, so it was a good Sunday.
Carl, this has been a crazy NFL season. The Viking were 6-0 and now they’re in a tail-spin!
