DALLAS COWBOYS VS. BUFFALO BILLS [CBS]

The 10-3 Dallas Cowboys take on the 7-6 Buffalo Bills in the rain today. The Bills are inexplicably 2 1/2 point favorites. The Cowboys have put up a lot of points in the past few games so the Bills will have to play their “A” game if they hope to win. How will your favorite NFL perform today?

Go, Bills! The Seahawks are playing the Eagles on Monday night so I’m not expecting any celebrations here in the PNW! On the up side, I won $290 at the Muckleshoot today!

Bob, congratulations on your Big Win at the Muckleshoot! Perhaps you should consider using some of your winnings to buy a heated humidifier for your CPAP machine!

The Giants are visiting Deb’s Saints in the Superdome today. We’ll see if undrafted QB Tommy DeVito can keep it going – no turnovers, keep running, and hope the defense keeps taking away the ball. With two games with the Eagles in the next three weeks, the Giants need to win today.

    Go, Bills!

Jeff, Tommy DeVito is one of the great sports stories of the year! They’ll be making a TV movie of his incredible feats with the Giants…soon!

Patti, Diane and I were eating dinner at THE HIDEAWAY GRILLE and watching the Lions manhandle the Denver Broncos. The Lions are going to make some noise in the Playoffs!

As Jeff noted, the 5-8 Giants journey to the Big Easy to take on the 6-7 Saints. If the Saints have even the faintest prayer of making it to the post-season, today’s is a make-or-break game. I expect it will be a battle of attrition, with the winner being the team that fumbles the least.

Of course, it means a lot more to the Saints, as even if the Giants win they are NOT going to beat the Eagles twice so have little chance of aking the playoffs, where the Saints can still win their division.

Jeff, I know this is heresy, but the Giants would be smart to lose to the Saints to get a better Draft Pick. As you say, the Giants are NOT going to beat the Eagles twice.

Deb, believe it or not, 30 of the 32 NFL teams still have a statistical probability of making the Playoffs. Of course, that will change with today’s results. But, the NFL has to be delighted that so many teams are in the running which increases Fan Interest.

As often happens, your Bills are opposite the Niners game on my tv, so I’ll be flipping back and forth. You could do SF a big favor if you’d beat the Cowboys. SF shouldn’t have trouble against AZ, I hope. By the time it gets to the evening game I ought to be footballed out.

Art, the Cowboys could be motivated today by the fact that if they beat the Bills, they clinch a Playoff spot. The Bills are motivated to beat the Cowboys just to keep their Playoff hopes alive! Diane is busy baking your Gingersnaps. I plan to mail your CHRISTMAS BOX out tomorrow.

The Bills looked good in their romping of the hated Cowpies! I was also glad to se the Chiefs win! I’m not expecting a miracle for the Seahawks!
