The 7-3 Buffalo Bills take on the 3-7 Denver Broncos today. The weather in Western NY is benign right now: 40s and overcast. No snowstorms in the forecast. Many Bills fans worry that this Bronco game could be a “trap” because the Bills play the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving. The Bills are 4-point favorites. How will your favorite NFL do today?
Lose.
Some people think the 2-8 Giants can beat the Bears on the road today, but so far they’ve not only played down to the mediocre competition, but below them. Until they show me otherwise, I am going to expect them to lose most of their games.
Jeff, the Giants blew their early lead and ended up losing. They might be playing for a higher Draft Pick now.
The 5-5 Panthers take on the 8-2 Saints in the Superdome today. After losing Cam Newton, the Panthers have surprised some by maintaining a .500 record. The Saints need to bring a good game to keep the Panthers in check. Meanwhile, we’re still basking in LSU’s decisive victory over Arkansas yesterday, taking their season to 11-0. They’re already going crazy in Baton Rouge. The twins will be cutting their Thanksgiving break short so that the can head back to campus Friday night and be ready for the pandemonium that will be the LSU-Texas A&M game next Saturday.
Your LSU team looks to be the best in the country. Meanwhile, in the western desert, the playoff hopefuls Oregon Ducks got outplayed by Arizona State and the Ducks playoff hopes were crushed. They, mostly the defense, looked awful, and I doubt they can beat Utah for the Pac 12 championship, which means no Rose Bowl either. Phooey.
When I saw Oregon lost, I knew you would be bummed out. LSU looks unstoppable at this point.
Yep. They looked terrible.
Rick, the Eagles loss probably eliminates them from the Playoffs.
Rick, I agree with you on LSU.
Deb, the Panthers had the opportunity to take the lead in the game…but missed that last kick. I’ll be watching the Saints vs. Falcons on THANKSGIVING night.
I fear the Seahawks will lose to the Eagles today.
Yet I was wrong, they beat Philly pretty handily.
Rick, the Eagles have regressed from their Super Bowl year.
Rick, the Seahawks took care of business in Philly. The announcements were calling the game “The Battle of the Birds.”
