I really liked the Dirda (other than a little too much inside stuff about the Baker Street Irregulars for my taste). I’m now reading Lord Dunsany’s Jorkens stories that Dirda recommended, and I’ve picked up Conan Doyle’s Round the Fire Stories as well.
I really liked Dirda’s book, too, Jeff. Dirda points the reader toward many other interesting books like Dunsany’s Jorkens stories. I want to read more of Conan Doyle’s non-Sherlock writings, too.
