The only one I’ve watched is ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING, which slowly grew on me I guess I’m pretty much out of touch and un-hip. One day when I get older and grow up, Imma gonna watch all the shows recommended by you, Jeff, Patti and others — you know, the people withgood taste.

Jerry, with all the streaming services, it’s hard to watch many of the recommended TV programs. I know Patti and the Meyersons like BRITBOX.

No Apple+, no Disney+, no Hulu, no whatever, so that eliminates a lot of George’s shows.

As much as we like Elspeth the character and Carrie Preston the actress, we found it more and more twee and annoying as the series went on, and after trying the one with her husband (Michael Emerson) have given up on it for good.

We watched the first series of ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING and found it good, but not great, as the late Marv Lachman so often said. It was overrated by some, and got way more attention than it deserved, probably, but we no longer have Hulu, so that is that.

We watch so many shows it would be impossible to pull a list of favorites of of my…uh, head, but HACKS would probably be on there, even if the latest series wasn’t the best. BABYLON BERLIN (MHz Choice), probably. THE DIPLOMAT (though series one was better). Jackie loves the Aussie political drama TOTAL CONTROL and BLACK DOVES and the British-Italian SIGNORA VOLPE (with Emilia Fox) plus FAT FRIENDS (Acorn; 2000-2005) We liked A MAN ON THE INSIDE (Netflix) with Ted Danson. Also on Netflix is LINCOLN LAWYER and NOBODY WANTS THIS. BOSCH: LEGACY is on Freevee I think. LIONESS on Paramount+/Showtime. BLUE LIGHTS (Britbox, set in Belfast).

Jeff, I think the offerings of TV programming since the Pandemic, the Writers Strike, and Actors Strike have been mediocre. The same goes for movies. It will take years to regain pre-Pandemic quality.
