I expect lies, denials, posturing, and everyone running over their allotted time. I’ll try to watch but my tolerance may not hold out.

Trump puts forth a dystopian view of America, and I worry that fans of THE WALKING DAD and HUNGER GAMES will hear his message, say “Yeah, that’s cool.” and sweep him into office hoping for a zombie apocalypse.

As the old internet meme has it, “Oh God, not this sh*t again!” I expect the Fox News moderator to lob plenty of softballs Trump’s way and to harrie and scold Hils. I expect Trump to sniff repeatedly, go off-topic, use a bunch of buzzwords, and claim the election will be rigged. I expect Hils to address all questions professionally, to ignore Trump, to get in a few zingers, and to continue playing out her impeccable long game. Sadly, if Trump can stay on point for two minutes, the pundits will say he “won”. Aaaarrrrgggghhhh!

Bill, I’ll be in bed because it’s a School Night, but Diane will watch some of the Debate while flipped to the NFL and MLB games from time to time.

Beth, this Presidential Campaign has felt like an Eternity!
Since Jackie is obsessed with the election, there is no doubt we’ll be watching.
I expect Chris Wallace to be tougher than you’d expect for a Fox News host, but yes, it will be emails, emails, emails.
The #1 question I want, though I bet it won’t be asked:
Mr. Trump, you have repeatedly claimed the election is “rigged” to help elect your opponent [without the slightest evidence, I might add, though apparently 70% of Republicans believe it] . Since elections are locally run, why would Scott Walker, Rick Scott, Pat McCrory, Greg Abbott, and your pal Chris Christie (along with all other Republican governors) be conspiring to elect Hillary Clinton?
Jeff, and don’t forget Benghazi! We’ll be hearing that word a lot tonight, too!
I haven’t watched one and will continue to hide under the bed.

I am very, very tired of the campaigning, the rhetoric, the fantastic statements and accusations. I’ll probably be in another room reading, as I see nothing to be gained by watching the dog and pony show.
Rick, there is a Kabuki Theater aspect to these Presidential Debates. I think Saturday Night Live will have plenty of new material to work with after tonight!
I watched the first 2 debates, and I wonder why (with the way trump acts) they don’t have mics that are only open when it’s the candidates turn. trump was so very abusive of the time, then complained that Hilary was allowed to go over as long as she liked, but they got on him after one second.. Of course, he’d probably shout very loudly if his mic was turned off. His sniffing and roaming around at the last one was so pathetic.
I haven’t taped this yet, not sure I can stand it. I am loving the way SNL treats it, and hope they do a skit on trumps election “monitors”.
I’m very afraid of election day violence, and glad I’ve been voting via the mail for decades. There was something in our paper today that civil rights groups will also be monitoring, to make sure the trumpsticks don’t intimidate voters. There was also an article about Canada being very welcoming to US citizens if trump wins. (guess they won’t be building a wall)

Wolf, the big story here in the post-Debate chatter is that Trump may not “concede” when he loses.
Politics is getting even dirtier all the time – but Trump’s campaign was a new high(or rather low …) at least in the eyes of most Europeans like me!
I didn’t want to watch the debates, relied on some experts’ analysis.
Haven’t watched SNL for a long time (it used to be my favourite show in the 80s) but might try to find it on some channel in Europe now – actually we usually switch our tv on just to watch some concerts on blueray.
I’d rather watch Eric Clapton’s Crossrads for the umpteenth time, Joe Bonamassa or Bruce Springsteen than listen to Trump regurgitating the same old nonsense.
Still, have fun – as long as it lasts!
