I know this looks like an ACE Double, but it’s a clever imitation. Armchair Fiction is reprinting SF from the 1950s and 1960s in a faux-ACE Double format. Sometimes, they use the same covers that graced the front of those classic ACE Doubles, sometimes not. So far, Armchair Fiction has published 50 books in this back-to back double novel trade paperback format. They also offer a line of SF singles. First, why have I not heard of this before? Second, you can’t go wrong with Hamilton and/or Jones, so this must be a good one. Third, curse you for “making” me go to a place sure to draw off some cash.
Good one, George.
Thanks, Rick. I stumbled on these faux-ACE Doubles by accident. I’ve already bought a couple and I plan to buy more!
I was really curious, so I went there and got one.
I think you’re going to love these Armchair Fiction faux-ACE Doubles, Rick. I own a couple and I want more!
Hi, George,
Long time! Ed Hamilton always gave you a great adventure of a read. Loved The Star Kings.
Welcome, Frank! We’ve both been fans of Ed Hamilton’s work for a long time. I’m glad small presses are making his work available again to a new generation of readers.
