Same to you, though I expect you’re in Dallas, not at home handing out goodies. Hope you have great time there. Be sure to stop by my B’con post and leave updates!
Halloween is over – I hope you had a good day/evening/night!
The main problem I have that for the last three weeks (or more …) all our supermarkets were filled with cheap plastic Chinese stuff for Halloween, enough to drive you crazy!
And even potato chips were in “Halloween design”!
And now they’re already filled with Xmas stuff.
It seems to me that all these holidays have just been made for selling, selling, selling …
The original reasons have largely been forgotten – of course I don’t mind since my wife and I are totally a-religious, but still …
Wolf, this is the first time we’ve missed HALLOWEEN since moved to Western NY 40 years ago. Fortunately (or unfortunately) the weather was rainy and cold. We usually get about a 100 trick-or-treaters, but the numbers must have been minimal this year.
I’m left with a bunch of stuff I can’t eat. Only had 10 zombies and gremlins show up last night. Last year there were between 30 and 40 and I always stock up for more. It was snowing a little last night so that may have impacted on the numbers.

Rick, there were complaints about the Wi-Fi at the Hyatt Regency but I didn’t use it so I can’t confirm that problem.
And back at you, George!
Jerry, we missed you at BOUCHERCON!
Would that she came to my door!
Bob, she carries MACE so watch out!

We ran out of candy after 575 kids. There were still more out there, but we had to turn the rest away.
