We are all chocolate addicts around here, Scott. When Diane breaks out the Peanut M&Ms, the party really gets started! Hope you and your family have a Happy Easter!
Diane is busy preparing the Easter Feast, Patti. I’m helping out where I can. Katie is here to assist, too. My brother, his wife, and my Mother will be joining us this afternoon.
Happy Easter, everyone! No chocolate here, I’m not allowed to have it until I’ve lost another 50 pounds (17 so far). So you all don’t know how lucky you are. Deb’s approach is both less fattening and, assuming she went to sunrise services, get s a few steps in as well. Barbara is getting ready for church right now.
Richard–I did go to Church, but not sunrise service. I went to what is termed “9:45 Alive!” (a contemporary service with a praise band). I also went to a Tenebraie service on Good Friday and a re-enactment of the Last Supper on Maundy Thursday. I suppose all that’s left is to wait for my husband to grill the yogurt-lemon-garlic marinated lamb and have dinner!
This could be the first grilling day of the season here, but the ham is a baked item.
George, my “secret” is this: Weight Watchers, strictly adhered to, allowing myself just 26 points a day, which is 8 less then their calculations, but on theirs I don’t lose much. Plus the first two weeks I had pneumonia and couldn’t keep much down. Starting tomorrow I’m on the pre-colonoscopy regimen, with Thur.-Fri. the drinking of the awful stuff. I expect to have a GREAT weigh-in next Monday!
Hubby’s just taking it out of the bag where it’s been marinating overnight (I forgot to mention there are sliced onions in the marinade too) and the smell is amazing.
And you, George.
Nice bunny!
Hope you and Jackie have a great day, Jeff!
Happy Easter, George!
Same to you and your family, David!
You do have the knack of making holidays enjoyable, George.
Sparkly vampires socks?
Nothing says Happy Easter like sparkly vampire socks, Jerry!
Oh, she looks like she’s ready to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Saviour.
Different strokes for different folks, Deb. Have a Happy Easter!
Happy Easter to you and yours, George.
The same to you and your family, Carl. And don’t overdue the SKYRIM!
Happy Easter, George and may the chocolate be plentiful!

It’s not Phil that eats the chocolate! Best to Diane.

Deb’s comment brought a smile to my face.
George, like you and your family, I also like chocolate. My breakfast today was a lot of dark chocolate peanut butter cups.
Happy Easter!
Dark chocolate…yum! Have a Happy Easter, Drongo! We’ll have the Masters on in the background during our Easter Feast.

Congratulations on the weight loss, Rick! What’s your secret?
Your menu sounds very appealing, George – sausage, pierogi and biscuits will get me there any time! Enjoy.
Both my mother and Diane’s mother are Polish, Jeff. So Polish specialties loom large in our Easter feast.

Yogurt-lemon garlic marinated lamb…yum! It’s a little too chilly to grill here, Deb. The temperature is only 51 degrees.

I know all about that pre-colonoscopy regimen, Rick. I’ve had four colonoscopies over the years. Good luck with yours!

Onions….yum! Your descriptions are making me hungry, Deb!
Sounds fabulous, Deb!
George, hope that meal was delicious! There are no new arrivals again this week, and I’m happy about that.
The Easter feast was enjoyed by all, Rick. I tried not to go overboard on the main course and I skipped dessert.
