Happy Father’s Day to you and all the Dads and Step-Dads out there. I am thankful my father is still alive (and still doing things like replacing storm doors for us) and thankful for my husband would is a really great Dad to our children.
/As my refrigerator magnet says, “When all else fails, call Dad.”
I should also have mentioned fathers-in-law. Mine passed away a few years ago, but I wish he were still here so I could wish him a happy Father’s Day too.
I still wear a lot of clothes I inherited from my dad (including a hat 30 years old) and smoke his favorite brand of cigars. As I write this, I’m wearing one of his old T-shirts that says, “IF I CAN’T FIX IT, IT AIN’T BROKE”
Same to you, George…even though Father’s Day is yet another artificial holiday created by the greeting card people.
Jeff, any excuse for a pizza party is fine to me!

Deb, I enjoyed your tribute to Dads! Thanks for you kind Father’s Day wishes!
Who is…

Happy Father’s Day to your husband and father, Deb. Same to my father, brother and brothers in law.
Happy Father’s Day, George!
Thanks, Bill! The same good wishes back at you!
I think the twice a week pizza is helping with Jackie’s recovery.
Enjoy!

Deb, so much of today’s media portray fathers as morons. It’s great to have you recognizing the importance of fathers and fathers-in-law!
Have a great day, George!
Thanks, Jerry! All fathers should be celebrated today.

Dan, I love what’s on that t-shirt! My Dad could fix almost anything, too! Sadly, I didn’t get that gene.
