Happy Labor Day to you and yours, George! (And Happy Labor Day to Deb, since I’m assuming that’s one of her private photos you’re using.) Hope you had a blast at Bouchercon!
Jerry, we just arrived home–it’s 11:00 P.M.–with lateness due to a delay in taking off from San Diego. Fortunately, Diane built in a 3-hour cushion between our landing in Chicago and our Take-Off for Buffalo. That cushion got reduced to less than an hour. We were worried our bags might not make it back to Buffalo tonight…but the Kelley Luck kicked in and the bags showed up on the carrousel.
Deb, you would have loved BOUCHERCON in San Diego! Plenty of great writers and fans. Lots of free books! Diane is considering next year’s BOUCHERCON in Nashville.
I hope you have better luck with your luggage than Jackie’s hairdresser, who had her luggage lost FOR THE SECOND CONSECUTIVE YEAR coming back from Croatia.
Jeff, “lost” luggage in Croatia is usually due to theft rampant in third-world countries. We’re home safe and sound, but these cross-country trips really drain a person!
Jerry, but we are becoming less fat with Ozempic and Wegovy. Several of my friends are on those drugs and most of them have lost an average of 30 pounds!
Great photo.
I’ll call it “Love’s Labour’s Drooling.”
Dan, I thought this graphic might catch your eye!

Hope you fill us in on your time in San Diego, George. You are “our eyes” at the event.
Patti, tomorrow’s blog post will summarize BOUCHERCON!
I’m glad to know George is in San Diego and not South Dakota! I kept wondering what he could be doing in SD!
Yes, again George raided the “for your eyes only” photo folder! I suppose a gal should be used to it by now. Le sigh.
Happy Labor Day to all!

Have a safe trip home, George.

Happy Labour Day to all of you lazy Americans!
Wolf, not only are we lazy, buy most of us are fat! Enjoy your day.

Wolf, have you ever visited San Diego? Talk about a laid-back culture!
No tools in the tool belt! I suspect this girl is not a building trades worker!
PS: I just talked to Beth and she’s as well as can be expected!
Bob, the San Diego BOUCHERCON had to be the BOUCHERCON FROM HELL for Beth and Maggie! Very sad situations! Hope both Beth and Maggie are doing better.
