Bob, Diane and I are hunkered down today. It’s rainy here and that’s going to turn to snow this afternoon. New Year’s Day is a good time to chill out!

Happy New Year to you and Diane and everyone here. We both have colds and ended the year at home easing chicken soup.

Jeff, hope you and Jackie recover soon! In Western NY a nasty flu bug is making the rounds. We’re trying to stay indoors for a few days as the snow falls.

We’re fully vaccinated and feel pretty confident it is just a cold. But since we’re leaving for Florida on Friday, it’s bad timing.

Oh, it’s going to be a “trough year” too, Jerry. As in, all the piggies will have their snouts in the trough! But as the old hymn says, we’ve weathered storms before…and we’ll continue to do so. Best wishes for 2025 to all! Everyone stay safe & healthy & and as inured as possible from the damage our soon-to-be-installed kakistocracy will inflict.

Speaking of “installed,” Elon is already installed in a place at Mar-a-Loko so he is on the ground and prepared to pull Trump’s strings whenever an isue comes up.

Hang on, 2025 will be a bumpy ride. The Trump cabal will disintegrate eventually–before doing irreparable damage, I hope. Hunker down and enjoy the snow in comfort, George.

Fred, I’m about to go out into our garage and start up Big Orange to prepare it for the weekend snowfall. I associate this second Trump Administration with the Reign of Caligula!

Tracy, Happy New Year to you and your family! The snow is mostly south of Buffalo where the ski resorts welcome it. We just got a dusting of snow.
