Deb, Diane is baking some cupcakes which will soon have some green icing on them. It’s a rainy St. Patrick’s Day here today. Tomorrow’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade will be chilly as the temperatures plunge! May the Luck o’ the Irish be with you!
Corned beef and cabbage today? In the past, we discovered that St. Patrick’s Day was a bigger travel day from Florida, as hotel prices were higher and rooms were scarcer. But maybe it was just that year or the day of the week that affected it. We’re leaving next week.
Happy St. Pat’s!
I just got back from the cemetery, paying my respects to my Mom – Patricia McBride Fedyn born on St. Patrick’s Day.
We’ve been enjoying soda bread for the past couple of weeks and corned beef is on the menu today.
Cheers!
Happy St. Patrick’s day to you all!
I found out about it in Manhattan where by accident many years ago I found a relatively cheap flight and hotel to New York – my birthday was just a few days ago.
So that trip to my favourite city was a birthday present to myself.
That was it. My reference up there was to Savannah, the home of the biggest St. Patrick’s Day Parade in the South (year 199 this year). That was why we had trouble getting a hotel room that year.
Erin go braugh to you too, George!

Same to all the Kelleys!

Jeff, no corned beef or cabbage for us. I’m pushing doe pizza! The weather should be better for travel to NY next week.
We’re taking Patti for brunch and then dropping her off at the airport. She has a 2:00 flight home.
Jeff, glad you and Jackie and Patti got to spend some time together! It’s raining cats and dogs in Western NY today. We may get an inch of rain!
May the luck of the Irish be with you and yours, George! (But I have to keep wondering where you get all those personal, private pictures of Deb.)
Jerry, a gentleman does not reveal his Secrets! Good Luck to you and your family, too!
Luck of the Amish to ye!
Dan, we just had some Amish cookies for a snack this week. Yum! Happy St. Patrick’s day to you!

Beth, one of our friends baked us a loaf of soda bread. Have a lucky St. Patrick’s Day!

Wolf, I love to visit New York City…but I could never live there!
In honor of the day I’m wearing green underpants!
Bob, I always knew you were a colorful guy! Happy St. Patrick’s Day to you!

Jeff, Buffalo has a large Irish community so there’s a St. Patrick’s Day Parade schedule for tomorrow…and another Parade on Sunday!
