Best looking leprechaun I’ve ever seen. St. Patrick’s Day actually threw off our plans. Originally we were going to Savannah last night on the way home but there is a big St. Patrick’s thing there this week so we changed.
Forget St. Pat, THE NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament begins today! It’s already on as I type this – Duke is playing NC Wilmington, with Butler – Texas Tech and UConn-Colorado to follow, and then a dozen other games, many overlapping, in addition. Who will be Cinderella? Who will be upset? The first Thursday-Friday eliminates half the teams, and then Saturday-Sunday eliminates half of those remaining. Some great college basketball over the next four days, and more of it next week. Who can think about leprechauns when the Tournament is going on? Not me!
Rick, tonight SUNY at Buffalo (14 point underdogs) take on the mighty team from Miami in the NCAA Tournament. I’m hoping today’s luck might rub off on the UB Bulls!
George, thanks for reminding me!
The son of our neighbour in Hungary called his boy Patrick (now two years old) – rather unusual name in Hungary, so we’ll call him tomorrow to remind the family about it.
Maybe we find some “green stuff” as a little present to give to him/ them when we return to Hungary next week – they look after our things and especially our little white tomcat (of course they get paid, but still …)
I went out to dinner intent on a taco salad but the restaurant had corned beef and cabbage so I had that! My concession to the Irish! It didn’t occue to me to ask about green beer!
Begorrah!
Dan, I suspect there’s some Green Beer in my after work plans.
Erin ga bragh to you too!
Deb, everyone is Irish today!
So is that a leprechaun?
Bill, she is a leprechaun who sometimes moonlights as a cardiac nurse for Stilwell.

Don’t overdo it, Irishmen (and women).
Jeff, Happy St. Patrick’s Day and have a safe trip! May the Luck of the Irish be with you!
Have a good one, George.
I’ll drink a green beer for you.
Beth, I always enjoyed watching the folks in Chicago turn their river green for St. Patrick’s Day. That’s Windy City style!

may you be in heaven an hour before the devil knows you’ve gone

As a Scottie/Italian I don’t celebrate it! But I hope them that do have a good time.
Bob, the green beer is flowing and everyone is happy here!

Bob, that’s okay. I drank a glass of green beer for you!
Or occur to me, either!
