Deb, Diane has decided that we will do Take-Out from Carrabbas today. I’m going with the RIGATONI MARTINO WITH SAUSAGE and Diane’s going with her favorite, CHICKEN MARSALA. The dinners come with salads, Italian bread, and sides of our choice (I usually go with broccoli). Dessert will be some Chocolate cake. Wine, of course, will flow!
Sounds tasty. We eat at Carrabba’s frequently in Florida, but the closest one to us would require a trip to either East Brunswick, New Jersey or Smithtown, Long Island.
I like their lasagna and grilled salmon. Jackie likes the shrimp and scallops with pasta.
We’re going for takeout Chinese food today. And we got a HUGE piece of chocolate roll at the bakery, to share with ice cream for dessert.
Jeff, it’s 23 degrees here (wind chill 12) so Diane is opting out of ice cream on her Chocolate cake. I’m built for Winter so I’ll be eating some Perry’s Ice Cream with my piece. We’re supposed to be hit by 8-12 inches of snow Monday night into Tuesday morning. Big Orange is ready to roll!
We’re getting freezing rain, which will change to all rain if we’re lucky. They actually predict 46 later this week, so maybe the Polar Vortex is receding.
George, you smooth operator!
Jerry, I came up with this Valentine’s Day idea…in a flash!
Happy Valentine’s Day to all!

George, I-I don’t know what to say! This is all so sudden. Will you give me some time to think it over?
Dan, I try never to rush anybody.

Jeff, the Polar Vortex is going to pay us a visit! We haven’t been above 32 degrees for a week…and it’s not likely to happen this week, either!
Another conspiracy by the candy, flower, and card cabals! Bah!
Bob, remember what Ogden Nash wrote: “Candy is dandy but liquor is quicker.”
