I’m a big fan of Bette Midler and Sixties Girl Group music so factor that in while you read this review. As Bette Midler sings these classic songs from my teenage years memories came flooding back. I remember singing “Be My Baby” when it came on my new transistor radio. Two of my favorite Gerry Goffin and Carole King songs are on this CD: “”One Fine Day” and “Will You Love Me Tomorrow.” Do you remember these great songs? GRADE: B+

Looks like a great collection–I plan to get it. I’ve loved Bette since the Divine Miss M days–she always did retro stuff back then too.
Deb, I enjoyed IT’S THE GIRLS. Like you, I’ve been a fan of Bette Midler’s for years. I love these retro songs!
Oh, for the day I could run down to the corner and pick this up!
Patti, I pre-ordered IT’S THE GIRLS from AMAZON. It arrived yesterday and I’ve been playing it ever since.
I listened to this one yesterday and got a kick out of it. Bette Midler does a good job with every song on it.
Bill, I agree. Bette Midler does a nice job with these songs.
“One Fine Day” is one of Jackie’s favorites too. We have it on order.
Jeff, “One Fine Day” sounds really good on this CD!
George, I haven’t heard Bette Midler’s songs as much as I have seen her movies and quite a few of them too. She is a wonderful actress.
Prashant, Bette Midler is as good a singer as she is an actress.
Got one on order but hasn’t arrived yet.
Can’t wait.
Beth, you’ll be pleased with Bette Midler’s IT’S THE GIRLS. Great songs!
Never liked her voice, so her covers of songs I like b the original groups is a bust for me. The rest of you, enjoy.
