Katherine Jenkins has long been a favorite of mine. I have all her CDs. But this Ultimate Collection CD is perfect for listeners who want to sample the music of this astounding singer. Classically trained, Katherine Jenkins is equally adept at arias and pop ballads. There’s something for everyone on this disk. What a lovely voice! I’ve not heard of this singer, but she’s on my radar now.
I love “Time to Say Goodbye,” although most people will know it by its Italian title, “Con Te Partiro” made famous by Andrea Bocelli.
I’ve been a fan of Katherine Jenkins for years, Deb. She has incredible range! Glad you like “Time to Say Good-bye” as much as I do. The Sarah Brightman version with Bocelli maybe the Gold Standard.
She has an incredible range, you say. I’m assuming her refrigerator, dishwasher and other major appliances are tops too. Never heard of her, though.
When you listen to Katherine Jenkins sing, Rick, you’ll want to hear more. And, as you point out, she has a fabulous kitchen!
Singers that can move between classical and pop and Broadway always amaze me.
Most singers are not as versatile as Katherine Jenkins, Patti. She can sing it all.
I wasn’t expecting her to sound like that (judging a book by its cover) as, like Rick, I’d never heard of her before.
I’ve been a Katherine Jenkins fan for years, Jeff. I hope my efforts can bring her talented singing to more ears.
I cannot say that I had heard of her either, though I am a big fan of Sarah Brightman and Time To sday Goodbye. This is now on my Amazon want list. Thanks for more good stuff, George!
You’ll enjoy the CD when you listen to it, Scott. Katherine Jenkins can give Sarah Brightman a run for her money.
She has an amazing voice, really, surprisingly versatile.
Love it.
And Katherine Jenkins is great in that DOCTOR WHO episode, too, Jessie!
Really? She was in Doctor Who?? Which episode?
I need to watch it!!
Katherine Jenkins appeared in the 2010 DOCTOR WHO CHRISTMAS SPECIAL, fabu-luxe. It’s available on DVD.
