I read a reference to La Croix Sparkling Water in the New York Times Magazine a few weeks ago. The writer refered to La Croix as “the best water in the world.” I figured that was just marketing hyperbole. Then I saw a case of La Croix in BJ’s Warehouse for a pittance. I bought it and sampled the lemon, lime, and raspberry flavors. Delicious and refreshing! I’m not a big sparkling water fan, but La Croix has just the right blend of bubbles and flavor. Highly recommended!
No, I’m not a huge sparkling water fan either, but when I do have some I prefer it straight, not flavored. Jackie might like this.
Jeff, the flavors I tested were mild. Just enough to tickle my taste buds.
I’ve been drinking this stuff for years – along with Diet Coke and beer.
My favorite flavor is grapefruit.
Beth, I’ll be searching for that grapefruit flavor! Rumors are that La Croix was first made in Wisconsin.
Are they sweet? I like sparkling water if it is not sweet.
Patti, La Croix is not sweet. There’s just a hint of flavor along with the bubbles.
I’m a branch water guy, myself. You say this is inexpensive, but it’s still more then tap, and the cans need to be recycled. Barbara drinks the filtered water from the tap on the refrigerator. We drink a lot of water, I go through 96 ounces every day.
Rick, if you drink that much water each day, you’re making a lot of trips to the bathroom.
I guess, but my M.D. says I need to stay very hydrated, as I take Invocana for my Diabetes.
Rick, plenty of my friends are on Invocana, too. How is it working for you?
