My sister calls daily from her cruise ship to tell me about the 80 degree temps she’s enjoying, Patti. I don’t mind the cold (unless it gets below zero). Enjoy that California weather!
I hope it’s not illegal to feed der, as we regularly put out corn & apples for them when snmow covers the ground. Seen some fun stuff, too. As we destroy more and more of their nsatural habitat, deer are increasingly moving into the suburban scene. we often spot them lately at soccer games and church socials, hanging around the potluck dinner.
I would need a dozen or more of those sheds to store my collection, Rick. My basement is almost full now. Time to donate another couple thousand books to SUNY at Buffalo.
Very cool. It’s been cold enough here and we still have enough snow that I wouldn’t be surprised to see your visitors down here.
I was surprised that the deer came so close to my house, Jeff. Usually, they keep their distance.
Probably petty hungry, George, put out some fodder.
It’s illegal to feed the deer, Rick. I think it’s a $1000 fine and some jail time.
nice pictures, by the way, and thanks for sharing your back yard.
The snow in the back yard can be pretty, Rick.
Usually they are looking for food when they come close to homes. They eat a number of landscape plants such as yews, euonymous and holly.
The snow is a couple of feet deep, Steve. I’m not sure they can find any of those plants until there’s a thaw.
I won’t tell you about the weather here, George Oh what the heck. 72 and sunny all week

Nice, Patti. I’m jealous. It’s been freezing rain all day. Some of the snow is melting but now the corners are pools of water or slush.
Can’t wait till we get the Florida at the end of next week.
We had rain today, Jeff, but it will all freeze by tomorrow morning. The commute in to work will be treacherous!
George, that’s an impressive shed you got there.

Plenty of people around here get fined for feeding the deer, Dan. Even the local SPCA discourages it.
Good eatin’.
Discharging a firearm with the city limits is also a big No-No, Bob.
You store your books in that garden shed, right?
