Rick, we’re in Ohio visiting Diane’s sister. We’re having corn-on-the-cob, pasta salad, pulled pork, and a choice of lemon cake and/or ice cream for dessert. How about you?
We did ribs Saturday, grilled hamburgers along with corn on the cob yesterday, and we’re having ribs again today (so easy when it’s leftovers). Along with the ribs, potato salad, cole slaw, deviled eggs, cornbread and ice cream.
I don’t want to be accused of nitpicking, George but … https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gardner_Dozois
I also admired his work, especially those 20 years as editor of Asimov’s SF mag!
Wolf, I have dozens of books edited by Gardner Dozois. You’re right about Dozois’ editorship of ASIMOV’S SF magazine. He won Editor-of-the-Year honors 15 out of 17 years!
PS:
My remark re nitpicking was on the spelling Dozios/Dozois … 🙂
Btw his name to me sounds French, but I couldn’t find anything on his ancestry (yet ).
Happy Day to you all, George. Nice image you picked. What’s on your menu for today?

Your menu sounds great!

Rick, your menu sounds delicious! We had grilled hamburgers and hot dogs yesterday. No cornbread this trip.
I just heard Gardner Dozois passed away yesterday. There’s a person worthy of a tribute on your blog! What a great editor he was, as well as writer.
Rick, Great Minds think alike! I’m considering a tribute to Gardner Dozois for this week’s FFB. So many choices…

Wolf, thanks for the link. I’ll correct the mis-spelling.
