MIAMI DOLPHINS VS. BUFFALO BILLS (CBS)

The 6-2 Buffalo Bills take on the 2-5 Miami Dolphins with the concussion-prone Tua Tagovailoa risking his health. The Bills are favored by 6½ points. The Dolphins and the Jets were projected to challenge the Buffalo Bills in the AFC East according to the preseason “experts.” Not happening.

I can’t believe Tua is going to risk his future health to play today. Be careful, dude!

As for the Giants, they are in free fall even more than Trump is. They lost a winnable game in Washington already, and the first place (wow) Commanders are on a roll lately, which should continue at the Meadowlands today at 1:00. So yes, I am predicting the Giants to lose, again. At least it is real football weather today.

    Go, Bills!

Jeff, I’m with you on Tua’s health. He should retire before he gets another concussion. I’m shocked by the news that Kamala leads Trump in Iowa!

In a battle to the bottom of the NFC South, the 2-6 Saints journey to North Carolina to take on the 1-7 Panthers. Now that baseball season is over, I suppose I have no choice but to start following football in earnest, but that’s hard when your team is swirling round the drain.

Late getting at the Bills game via RedZone, but they just went ahead 20-13 with a long scoring play. Niners have the bye this week, and Cowboys are losing, so all’s well so far.

Well, the Bills hung on to win, the Giants made it close but lost, and the Saints are looking to lose again. And Dallas lost, so good.

The Ravens beat the Broncos 41-10. Denver, which had been great on 4th down this year, went 1 for 5 today, which really helped Baltimore. But, as Tony Romo said, if they’d kicked 4 field goals instead they’d have still lost 41-22.
