NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE WEEK 10

The Buffalo Bills play the Denver Broncos tomorrow on Monday Night Football. However, there’s plenty of NFL action today. This is the Make-Or-Break time of the year for many NFL teams. And, sadly, the number of injured players increases with 10 weeks of wear and tear on those athletic bodies. How will your favorite NFL team perform today?

We Play the 4-5 Redskins! After last week’s pathetic performance I have low hopes! I hope the Bills destroy the hated Broncos!

Don’t ask. With the Giants going into their House of Horrors in Dallas, and with Tommy DeVito at quarterback, I am expecting another ugly blowout. It might (but probably not) have helped a little if they were playing here, as it is below freezing in the Meadowlands at the moment and won’t get out of the windy 40s allday.

It’s interesting. The Giants played in Las Vegas last Sunday. The Jets are in Las Vegas tonight.

The 5-4 Saints journey to Minnesota to take on the Vikings, who have the same 5-4 record. Amazingly, the Saints, with their generally lackluster play and none-too-spectacular record, currently sit atop the NFC South. A win today could really cement their position—but it’s going to be a hard-fought game, and I’m not confident of the outcome.

Deb, the Vikings always surprise me. When I think they’ll win, they lose. When I think they’ll lose, they win. You’re right: the Saints will face a tough game in Minnesota!

Am now watching a spectacularly boring Indy-Pats game (7-6 in 4th qtr), mostly notable for a stadium full of Krauts in Frankfurt singing Country Roads & pining for W. Virginia! Jags-Niners is next and this game could bury the 3-loss streak Niners if they lose this one. I am not sanguine.

Wolf, I had more than a few steins of your fine brews back in the ’90s when business took me to the Deutsches Eck, Koblenz. It’s likely that age has put an end to Transatlantic travel for me, but I still recall the hospitality of your countrymen, back before they were force-fed American football.
